Five Years Later, “Given the Circumstances” Is Back on Tap for Summer

Five years ago, on May 9th, 2020, we tapped a brand new IPA that felt like it captured the moment. The world had just changed, and like many of you, we were trying to make sense of it all — brewing with what we had, working with who we trusted, and leaning into creativity. We found ourselves saying the same thing over and over: “Given the circumstances…”

That phrase stuck. It became more than a name — it became a reminder of how this beer came to be. Built from all-Canadian malt (including a touch of BC Dark Munich for that copper glow), and loaded with classic West Coast “C” hops — Cascade, Centennial, and Columbus — Given the Circumstances became a straight-shooting IPA that fans kept coming back for. Assertive grapefruit and pine bitterness, dry finish, no haze, no fuss.

Now, five years later, it’s back — right where it started: fresh on tap in the taproom for summer.

This isn’t a hazy juice bomb. It’s not chasing trends. It’s a beer for people who know what a real West Coast IPA should taste like. Clean malt backbone, crisp body, and hops that punch like they mean it.
